Welcome to our blog! Calvin, Austin and I are leaving in just three days for a month in our Silver Towed 23 foot Airstream trailer! The preparation has been painstaking, the research exhaustive and the need to get over the concept of "trailer trash" immense. Our intention is to cover about seven states, two Canadian provinces, five national parks, one Women's Motorcyce Conference and my own fear of camping. I have no doubt we'll nail the first four.
We'll head out on Sunday, making Trinity Lake, near Shasta, our first stop. Then on to Ashland, OR, bypassing our arch-nemesis town of Klamath Falls, where there are simply no falls. After that, it's up to Columbia Gorge for a couple of nights.
The intent here is write every day, so look for a max of one posting a week. We can't wait!
